FC Bayern: FC Barcelona takes the distance from Münchner Profi
FC Barcelona turns off its squad for the future. According to reports, a player of FC Bayern is also targeted. But Barca now seems to have other options in mind.
Marc Roca took his football beginnings in Barcelona. After his professional debut in 2016 for Espanyol, the midfielder turned into a regular in Laliga. In the summer of 2020, FC Bayern struck and signed the Spaniard for around nine million euros. In Munich he signed until 2025.
Marco Roca at Bayern is still not really arrived after almost two years. Speculations about an early farewell have never really torn off in the past few months, after all, the 25-year-old only completed nine missions in the 2021/22 Bundesliga season.
One of the clubs, which was acted as a possible buyer for Marc Roca, was none other than FC Barcelona. The rumors had already started driving last winter.
The supposed plan: At Barca, the central midfielder will in future take on the role of club icon Sergio Busquets, who, at 33 years, is slowly but surely heading to his end of his career.
Barca gets out, Rome is still interested?
However, as “Bild” now reports, FC Barcelona is currently not interested in depositing an offer for Roca. The Bayern professional would be on a list of possible candidates, but he should not be one of the desired solutions. Negotiations were therefore not initiated.
Since FC Bayern in Ryan Gravenberch by Ajax Amsterdam is likely to gain another central midfielder for the new season, Roca should continue to have little hopes for a breakthrough with the record champions.
As the Italian newspaper “Repubblica” reported in April, AS Rome is still in the race for the Spaniard. Roca itself had always confirmed that they would like to assert himself at Bayern.
