Steam: Delete group made easy

We have already explained how easy it is to create a Steam group here.

Deleting is also quick – however, you have to know one thing.
The prerequisite is, of course, that your Steam account has the corresponding admin rights for the group.
1. Open the group view in Steam.
2. The “Call up admin page” option sounds obvious, but does not include any function to delete the group.
Instead of this, you must first remove all members.
3. Then you have to leave the group yourself.
A short time later, the group disappears on its own.

So you delete a Steam group by completely emptying it.
Since this is not communicated anywhere, many users face a mystery, but in truth, not much work is necessary.
