GTA 5 for PS5: New information about the Next-Gen GTA
Rockstar Games has shared more details for the upcoming new edition of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Among other things, the graphics modes were presented, which are available in the Next-Gen version. Accordingly, players may look forward to three different variants in “Enhanced & Expanded” upgrade .

For example, if you return to Los Santos you can decide for the Fidelity mode . This is the graphic best possible setting of GTA 5 inclusive RayTracing at 30 fps . On PS5 and Xbox Series X is the resolution at 4k \ – with an Xbox Series S you get a highly scaled 4K playback . If you choose the Performance mode , you Stable 60 fps with highly scaled 4k on PS5 and Xbox Series X and 1080p on Xbox Series S.

The developers also offer a Mix from Fidelity and Performance – but only on the two most powerful consoles. Highly scaled 4k with 60 fps and raytracing are included here. Generally, the new edition of GTA 5 already benefits from faster charging times, improved exposure and shading representation, denser traffic and much more.
RockStar detailed DUALSENSE SUPPORT
Players on PS5 also get some dualSense functions donated. According to the team, weather effects, road coverings or explosions will be noticeable directly via the controller. The adaptive shoulder buttons are used, for example, when using weapons.
Game data can be transferred
Rockstar Games also announced that players can take over their progress in the story mode of GTA 5 and their character from GTA Online into the Next-Gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Here, the Rockstar Games Social Club is used, which also allows the transfer from different platforms. For example, you can transfer your progress from an Xbox One to a PS5. All this will be directly to the launch on 15. March 2022 are available.
