Call of Duty: Three games probably still for PlayStation
One of them should be “a new iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone”.
How to continue with the “Call of Duty” brand as soon as the acquisition of Activision Blizzard is completed by Microsoft? Many have asked this question last week. Will the shooters only appear for PCs and the Xbox consoles in the future or can continue to pull PlayStation Zocker in the war? Phil Spencer, Chief of Microsoft Gaming, has come to a few days ago on Twitter and wrote that Call of Duty will remain a multiplate series and respect all existing agreements that Activision Blizzard has met.
Now Jason Schreier from Bloomberg reports that at least the next three “Call of Duty” games will still appear for the PlayStation. As a source, he gives four anonymous people who are familiar with the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard and do not actually have permission to talk to the press. Interesting here: Those three games are not all main parts.
In addition to this year’s Call of Duty, in which it is probably a modern Warfare 2, and the part for 2023 is of a new iteration of Call of Duty: Warzone the speech. Activision Blizzard So probably plans to provide the free Battle-Royale game for years with updates, but maybe a real successor to publish next year. More details do not call screens in his report.
Regarding the Call of Dutys from 2024, the plans “hazy”, says yreier. That’s especially interesting, because it can take up to 18 months until Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is officially completed. So it can just happen that in two to three years from Call of Duty an Xbox exclusive franchise becomes. The RedMonder Group had no order, Sony and Activision Blizzard did not respond to a request, writes writing.
