The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 Work Title New info in Nintendo
Most recently, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 became very quiet. Although there was some speculation around a possible presentation in the run-up to this year’s issue of The Game Awards. However, these have not been true. But now there is at least an indirect sign of life including new details.
These come from a few patents from Nintendo, which are on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (short: WIPO). The patents in themselves are already a few months old, but have noticed only now. It can be found in some gameplay mechanics in the continuation of Breath of the Wild. Some of them are already known from the E3 trailer of this year. These include time manipulation in conjunction with certain objects as well as the passage for platforms.
NEW, however, are the detail of a system around the free fall: how to remove the appropriate patent, the game figure in Breath of the Wild 2 will not only fall backwards into the depths, but can also carry out some actions during the fall. This includes the use of bows and other weapons, which should enable some new gameplay mechanics.
Nintendo itself is silent about the patents and the associated information so far. A concrete release date is still not fixed, the publication as exclusive title for Nintendo Switch is planned vague for the year 2022.
